Conference Publication

After registration and presentation, accepted papers will be scheduled for publication. These papers will be submitted for publication and indexing with highly esteemed academic publishers, such as Springer, based on the Scientific Committee's recommendations. Select papers may also be considered for additional publication in various research-focused journals.

All accepted submissions to the conference, after a rigorous double-blinded peer-review process by a distinguished Editorial Board, will be published in one of the following:

Discover Sustainability by Springer (Web of Science’s Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), SCOPUS, and DOAJ indexed - Impact Factor: 2.4)

We are pleased to offer selected papers from the SIP2025 Conference the opportunity to be considered for publication in the Springer journal: Discover Sustainability. However, please note the following:

    • The Springer journal has an independent peer-review process that is separate from the SIP2025 Conference review process.
    • Acceptance in the conference does not guarantee acceptance in the journal.
    • Publication in the Springer journal requires authors to pay an APC (Article Processing Charge), as specified by the journal.
    • The conference registration fee does not cover the APC.
    • If a conference paper is not accepted by the Springer journal, or the author opts not to pay the APC, the paper will be published in one of the following without any additional charges:
      • Partner journals (REPA Journals)
      • Repa Proceeding Series

  3. Publication Assignment

Please note that authors do not have the option to select the publication source for their papers. The assignment to a specific publication will be determined based on the theme of the research, the quality of the research, and the editorial recommendation. Authors cannot claim their desired publication outlet. This ensures that each paper is placed in the most suitable and prestigious venue for its topic and quality.
